Placecube’s leading open knowledge exchange and collaboration platform, Knowledge Hub has recently benefited from a new product upgrade and redesign in response to user feedback and demand.  The product upgrade includes a new look and feel, easier navigation and enhancements to key collaboration features plus a range of new interactive elements.

Knowledge Hub (www.khub.net) is a free-to-join, open knowledge exchange and collaboration platform for public service. It provides digital collaboration tools to a broad audience of over 100,000 from 5,000 public sector organisations. The user community consists of a global audience and is used extensively in central and local government, health, education, housing, police and fire services.

Commenting on the recent upgrade, Liz Copeland, Head of Customer Insight & Engagement at Placecube said, “We’re thrilled to reveal the new Knowledge Hub as part of our redesign and upgrade of our Digital Place for Communities product.  We’ve improved the user experience with clearer calls to action and signposting, and a whole host of smaller but impactful changes which will be meaningful to both our existing and prospective customer base. We are very grateful for the support of our users whose feedback has been so invaluable throughout this process and which continues to drive further improvement.”

She continues, “When we first started the upgrade project, we gathered user feedback along with the latest trends in collaborative technologies and prioritised what we could do to improve the overall experience of being a Knowledge Hub member.  This involved looking at the different user journeys for signing up, joining groups and networks, interacting with members, collaborating on content, sharing knowledge, as well as looking at those members who facilitate and manage groups and networks.”

The new look product is now live and available to existing and prospective customers.
